Born in California to Chinese immigrant parents who moved to the United States in search of a better life, Nora Ling's world changed forever after losing both of them in a workplace accident at a young age.In the years that followed, she supported herself by working as a waitress and offering tarot readings, trying to navigate grief while searching for a sense of purpose. During that time, she completed a Hot Yoga teacher training program in California and became a certified instructor.Months later, emotionally exhausted and uncertain about her future, Nora saved enough money to embark on a backpacking journey across Asia. While traveling through China, she reconnected with her cultural roots, but it was in India that she found true solace for her grieving heart. Immersing herself in the country's culture, cuisine, philosophy, and spiritual traditions, she stayed far longer than originally planned.Her time there became a transformative chapter of self-discovery. Through yoga and meditation, she learned to quiet the fluctuations of the mind and cultivate a deeper connection between body, mind, and spirit.Eventually, Nora settled in South Korea, where she now works as a Hot Yoga instructor at Ojas Studio. Alongside her teaching career, she continues to practice tarot reading, combining intuition, mindfulness, and spirituality in both her personal and professional life.She is currently in a relationship with Caleb. The couple shares an apartment and a cat named Shiva.
